The Sanctuary Choir leads in Westbury’s Sunday morning worship service and for special seasonal presentations. Each year, the choir, accompanied by guest orchestra, presents a Christmas concert in December. The choir also leads in a major music and worship presentation during the Easter/Spring season.
The primary purpose of the Sanctuary Choir is to glorify God through song as we lead worship. The Sanctuary Choir meets each Wednesday from 7:05–8:30 to rehearse and prepare anthems for Sundays. Any college student or adult (including non-church members) who expresses a desire to join his or her heart and voice with others may join our choir by attending two consecutive Wednesday rehearsals. We meet in the choir room located behind the sanctuary.
